I'm currently implementing few abstractions to represent level-set operations for 3D objects. Basically what is described in this amazing page for GLSL shaders.
I am detecting edges of round objects and am obtaining "bumpy" irregular edges. Is there away to smooth the edges so that I have a more uniform shape?
I'm using the centroid of polygons to attach a marker in a map application. This works definitely fine for convex polygons and quite good for many concave polygons.
