I was reading about the Android Testing Samples project and noticed that a "new" build tool named Bazel is being used for building Android projects:
I'm making an android app using react native and this is the error I'm getting :I'm getting the following warnings also :
When trying to build I get this error: Could not find any matches for com.android.tools.build:gradle:2.2.+ as no versions of com.android.tools.build:gradle are available. Searched in the following locations: https://jcenter.bintray.com/com/android/tools/build/gradle/maven-metadata.xml https://jcenter.bintray.com/com/android/tools/build/gradle/ Required by: project :react-native-image-picker
This is a React Native project. Worked fine on another machine but once moved to my machine it fails.
Bitrise build is failing with the following error:A problem occurred configuring root project 'src'.Could not resolve all files for configuration ':classpath'. Could not find com.google.gms:google-services:4.1.0. Searched in the following locations: https://dl.google.com/dl/android/maven2/com/google/gms/google-services/4.1.0/google-services-4.1.0.pom https://dl.google.com/dl/android/maven2/com/google/gms/google-services/4.1.0/google-services-4.1.0.jar https://jcenter.bintray.com/com/google/gms/google-services/4.1.0/google-services-4.1.0.pom https://jcenter.bintray.com/com/google/gms/google-services/4.1.0/google-services-4.1.0.jar Required by: project :
today I was trying to update com.google.gms:google-services to 4.2.0 from 4.1.0 as it's the latest version and recommended by firebase. But I get this error:
It seems that somehow the android/tools/common library has been deleted (pom, jar). This caused many react native libraries that are using an old gradle version in their classpath (e.g com.android.tools.build:gradle:2.2.3) to not being able to sync
I have set up the environment for compiling a Cordova Android app on my desktop and everything has worked fine. Then I compiled it on my laptop and I can't get it to compile the app.
So thats what I have tried: I have also found very similar problem from today Android Studio - Could not find intellij-core.jar yet the only gradle.build file that I found was the one generated with Unity in Temp folder that overwrites itself after every build start.
since today I cannot build my android project because of this error :Android studio 3.2.1 com.android.tools.build:gradle:3.0.1
